HOMELESS SHELTERS PROJECT

This year we have spoken to three Shelter's and they are sharing the need for them to have Cotton Blankets and Toiletries, so we have reached out to family, friends, agencies and organizations to help us to purchase 2,000 Blankets. Please note that when they go to the shelter they just have a bed, but nothing else.

We will work with each Shelters with the delivery process. It's our goals to deliver them prior to Christmas 2020, unfortunately, we did not meet our goal, so we will continue to ask for donation to help us until we arrive at our goal of 2,000 Blankets.

Every Sunday we are provide Spiritual Care Church Services to the following Shelters

Mitch Snyder Homeless Shelter - Women 12:30pm - 1:30pm

Mitch Snyder Homeless Shelter - Men 3:00pm - 4:00pm

Central Union Mission Homeless Shelter Men - 3:00pm - 4:00pm

New York Avenue Homeless Shelter Men - 3:00pm - 4:00pm

Park Road Transitional House Coalition Homeless Shelter Men - 3:00pm - 4:00pm

Coming Covenant House Homeless Shelter for Men & Women (Same Times)

"Library of Peace"

2011 Mississippi Avenue, SE Washington, DC 20020

This Library of Peace was completed on July 23, 2021. We are very excited for the work that was done and the beautification of the Library. We are taking individuals and groups on a tour of the Library, so that they can refer students to visit and enhance their ability to learn and accomplish their educational goals.
