Pastor Alphonso Lewis, MHS, LCPC, LPC, NCC, CSC-AD

Pastor Alphonso Lewis has been working in the mental health/human services field for the past sixteen years with programs in Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland. Pastor Lewis’ clinical experience ranges from working with clients as young as five-years of age; providing counseling and therapeutic consulting services. His dedication to his clients had him providing counseling services to a fourteen year-old male residing in a level-five clinical school in Orlando Florida.

This therapeutic alliance began in March 2001, and continued until March 2002, with Pastor Alphonso Lewis making one-day trips to Orlando FL and Birmingham AL twice each month. Pastor Lewis received his Masters of Human Services from Lincoln University. His thesis was on the establishment of integrated programs for the dually diagnosed (mental illness/substance abuse). Pastor Lewis is presently working on his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. He received a certification from Sciacca Comprehensive Services (located in New York City) in Dual Disorder Counseling (substance abuse/mental illness) in 1999.
